CONNECTED
PUPPY

is an easy puppy

Puppies add a lot of joy to our lives, but they’re a lot of work, too. A surprising amount, really…

Between house training and those sharp little teeth and all that boundless energy, raising a puppy can easily become more than you bargained for. And that doesn’t even count basic manners training!

Let me come to your puppy training rescue!

3 options for enjoying a Connected (aka, well-behaved) Puppy:

Puppy Training Classes

Puppy classes are a great way to learn the tricks of the puppy training trade while burning off your pup’s excess energy as she learns to play politely with fellow canines. Plus it’s guaranteed to be the most fun (and cute) hour of your week!

Puppy Class #1:
Puppy Start Right Preschool Class

The perfect start now for a perfect dog later

The focus of preschool is all about socialization and problem solving and prevention, with some basic manners foundation sprinkled in. We’ll tackle potty training, puppy biting, and other puppy nuisance behaviors. Your puppy will engage in guided, supervised play to build her dog-dog social skills. And she’ll begin learning about the big world around her and how to navigate it politely and confidently. Don’t worry– we’ll begin some obedience basics, too.

5-week Puppy Start Right Preschool class: $149

Includes 1 orientation session (no pups, please) + 4 group training sessions + Puppy Start Right book and clicker.

Class Rules: Puppies should be 7-12 weeks at the start of class.

DON’T WAIT!!

The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviorists recommend starting puppy class 10 days after your puppy’s first shots.

Here’s why you shouldn’t wait until your puppy’s shots are completed.

All family members welcome, but children must be old enough to not require supervision.

Please note: If necessary due to pandemic conditions, this class will be moved online.

Puppy Class #2:
Puppy Kindergarten Connections Class

Life skills and basic obedience for your puppy

In Puppy Kindergarten we build on preschool foundations. Using the power and fun of clicker training, we’ll work on basic manners like attention, sits and downs, polite leash walking, coming when called, leave it & take it, wait, and settle. The goal? A polite puppy, of course!

5-week Puppy Kindergarten class: $149

Class Rules: Puppies should be between 4-9 months old at the start of class, and have begun their vaccinations. All family members welcome, but children must be old enough to not require supervision. Puppy Start Right Preschool is highly recommended before Puppy Kindergarten, to make sure your pup gets the socialization that is so critical to her smooth development. Contact me if you think your pup might be an exception.

Please note: If necessary due to pandemic conditions, this class will be moved online.

Puppy Day School

The ultimate option for busy, harried puppy lovers

If juggling work and kids and life in general doesn’t leave time for training, or you’d just benefit from a few hours of relief a few days a week, I’ve got you covered. I developed Puppy Day School for my busy puppy clients, and for clients whose puppies are, well, simply a lot to handle.

I’ll pick your pup up (or if you prefer, you can drop them off) three times each week for a half-day of training, socialization, and exercise in my home. I’ll deliver your pup home tuckered out and well-behaved. Once a week you’ll join me and a few fellow puppy parents for a Puppy Results session, where you’ll learn how to benefit from the training I’ve done—and have a chance to ask any puppy questions you have, too.
